Meet the Author

Branlyn Dirmia is an educator, storyteller, and global traveler originally from North Carolina. She didn’t receive her first passport until age 28, but has since explored over 35 countries and 65 international cities. Her journey across borders and cultures now fuels her mission to help children see the world with wide-open eyes.
Branlyn is the founder of Never Unpack Adventures, a platform that inspires young readers to become explorers, dreamers, and citizens of the world. Gigi and Her Magical Map is her debut children’s book and the beginning of a joyful, legacy-filled collection rooted in imagination, identity, and wonder.
